Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) delegates have been urged to unite behind the party’s nominees and not support indepednt candidates.
According to South Gem Member of County Assembly, Peter Lolwe Ombee, it will be very shameful if other parties or independent candidates beat ODM in Siaya County.
Ombe has pleaded with the delegates to put aside their differences and embrace humility with a view to persuade their opponents’ supporters to join them so that ODM can win all seats in Siaya County.
The county representative wondered why genuine party members can decide to decamp at this time when ODM leader Raila Odinga is running for the presidency.
He warned the electorates to be cautious with the defectors, noting that they seem to have a negative agenda for Mr. Odinga’s presidential quest.
