ODM has announced it will deploy 50 youth in every polling station to monitor and protect its votes in August.Party leader Raila Odinga said the opposition will leave nothing to chance as he prepares to take his last stab at the presidency. He said every Kenyan knowns Jubilee allegedly stole the 2013 election but said the National Super Aliance will not entertain vote rigging in August."Every polling station will have 50 youth manning," he said at an ODM rally in Kibra on Sunday."That day youth will adopt every polling station. We will find a way through which they will be communicating to us," he added.Raila maintained his 2007 and 2013 bid to ascend to State House was thwarted by vote rigging. He rejected the 2007 presidential election results leading to Post Election Violence that claimed over 1,300 lives. In 2013, he rejected the vote results and proceeded to the Sureme Court to challenge President Uhuru Kenyatta's election. The Court, however, under former Chief Justice Willy Mutunga upheld Uhuru's election."On polling day there will be a voters' register with names of all the people registered in a particular polling station," he said."The youth will be monitoring those who have voted and those who have not voted. People who will delay to go to their respective polling stations will be collected by the youth to go and vote. Even those who are sick will be collected to go and vote," he added.Data from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission indicate that both NASA and Jubilee strongholds registered almost a similar number of new voters signaling the presidential race in August will be tight.
