The Orange Democratic Movement leadership in Nyamira County has vowed to disrupt pro-Matiang'i protests should it be executed.
Hundreds of youths allied to Jubilee on Tuesday took to streets accusing certain politicians of allegedly sabotaging Matiang'i.
"We thank those who made it in Kisii and next we shall have Nyamira edition. Our CS must be spared from this political rhetoric," said Brian Mamboleo.
For months now, Matiang'i has been subjected to criticism from leaders across all political parties from Gusii region.
But the ODM team lead by chairman Dennis Marube warned against any pro-Matiang'i protests in the region.
"We cannot allow boys to defend impunity and that shall not happen in Nyamira. Let them just try the monkey games," he said.
Nyamira Jubilee leadership had labelled Matiang'i a 'tenant' and warned that the county should have one of their own nominated to executive.
