The Orange Democratic Movement has unveiled the party's National Elections board that will handle primaries ahead of the next general election.
Party leader Raila Odinga appointed Robert Arunga as the secretary with Judy Pereno holding the chairperson position.
According to party chairman John Mbadi, the board will be mandated in handling all election matters within the opposition outfit.
Mbadi further cautioned party officials at county levels who were extorting money from aspirants promising them direct nominations.
"The party is concerned that some county and constituency branch officials have been summoning aspirants and conducting illegal vetting. We want to announce that the party will deal with any branch official who engages in such illegal activities,” said Mbadi.
Mbadi singled out Migori county where some officials were accused of extorting money from aspirants.
