Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok has continued to raise eyebrows among NASA supporters following his latest gesture on a possibility to work with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
With many NASA leaders disowning Uhuru's victory, Nanok has however become the first opposition governor to recognize Uhuru as president.
"I do not recognize Uhuru. He does not have legitimacy and his inauguration was just a coronation," Raila said.
Uhuru's victory was upheld by the Supreme Court despite NASA having boycotted the October repeat poll.
But Nanok on Thursday urged opposition leaders to drop hard-line stands and support Uhuru's jubilee administration.
"Your Excellency I wish to congratulate you for your victory. It was not an easy campaign but I now fully support you.
"As governors, we are united against tribal politics and our aim now is to push for peace and reconciliation," said Nanok.
Besides being Council of Governors chair, Nanok also doubles as Raila Odinga's ODM National Vice Chairman.
