Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) national chairman John Mbadi has warned reporters to be careful against publishing alleged negative stories against the party.
Mbadi cautioned journalists against reporting negative stories which paint the party and its leader Raila Odinga in bad light.
“I want to tell Standard journalists who are here that what you reported in today’s paper was not factual, you need to be careful,” said Mbadi.
ODM leaders, who accompanied Raila Odinga in the rally which was held in Malaba and Busia, said there was a group of people who have planned to pay for stories painting ODM in a bad light.
A K24 reporter Moses Masinde was beaten up by ODM diehards during Raila’s rally in Budalangi in Busia after it was alleged that Masinde was recording anti-Raila demonstrations.
