The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) on Tuesday bashed Jubilee government’s online portal delivery.go.ke calling it another PR gimmick by President Uhuru Kenyatta.ODM said Jubilee was on a mission to continue lying to Kenyans instead of accepting they had failed in delivering their 2013 promise. The Raila Odinga led party said that the site was just but a portal full of lies. The opposition party argued that instead of listing ‘lies’ on the newly launched portal, what Jubilee could have done is to list persons facing graft charges during its reign and indicate progress of the respective cases.President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto on Monday launched the online platform where consolidated government information can be obtained.During the unveiling of the digital page, the Head of State said it was a move to let citizens know the achievements made by his administration in the last four years. The pair bids to utilize the online portal as a key avenue to display their scorecard as they seek re-election. They called on Kenyans to allow the administration complete its transformative journey by giving them an okay in the August poll.Just a day after the Monday launch, ODM has stated that Jubilee deserves no more stay in office because they have failed to make lives of the ordinary Kenyan better. The party said only few persons have enriched themselves under President Kenyatta’s watch.According to the Orange outfit, the change boasted of by the Jubilee rule has not even been felt in the capital, let alone the rural areas.
