[Photo|Twitter]Malindi Member of Parliament Aisha Jumwa has expressed disappointment after her National Super Alliance (Nasa) political coalition welcomed PNU leader Peter Munya, as the sixth principal.Nasa, whose principals are Raila Odinga (ODM) Kalonzo Musyoka (WDM-K), Musalia Mudavadi (ANC), Moses Wetangula (Ford Kenya) and Isaac Ruto (CCM), welcomed the former Meru Governor, as a co-principal, early this week, ahead of the October presidential election. However, Jumwa, a staunch ODM lawmaker, criticised Munya's presence in the coalition, saying he adds no value, to NASA, and that he campaigned for Jubilee in Meru, during the August 8 polls, denying Nasa votes in Mt Kenya region."I want to say the truth. Peter Munya adds no value to Nasa. We all know how he supported Jubilee and we all saw how many votes we got in Mt Kenya region, and Meru County. What does he bring to Nasa?" said Jumwa.Speaking, Wednesday, the former Kilifi County Woman Representative challenged the alliance to pick Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho or Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi, as one of the Nasa principals, and not bring 'failures' to the alliance. He lamented that the coast region had been sidelined in terms of picking principals in Nasa, adding that coast residents would not allow it."Where was Munya, when Amason Kingi and Governor Joho were dying with Nasa during campaigns? Joho or Kingi should be the next Nasa principal, don't bring people who add no value to the alliance as principals, only because they have a party," added Jumwa.
