Speaking during a forum on inter-ethnic relations, Mbae said that the Nakuru Public Service Board is open to all as long as one has a relevant qualifications.

Mbae urged the human rights activists to ensure they inform members of the public on new employment opportunities and soon they will be done at ward level.

“We want to devolve the public service board to grassroots to ensure fairness to all those who cannot afford to travel to the board offices,” he added.

The Nakuru county public service board has been criticised by human rights and members of the public for appointing county executives who are either corrupt of incompetent.

According to human rights watch, the Nakuru county government is not made up of fair representation of all the tribes in the county despite being a cosmopolitan county.

The forum was organised by Pioneers for Change initiative together with The German Friedrich Ebert Foundation.
