The Kisumu County Public Service members are out of their offices after a raging feud with the county administration.
The board has been forced to move to the county social hall for their operations after hosting their meeting in the offices at the lakeside county's posh Milimani Estate.
Mr Nahson Oguya who is the chairman of the PSB, said that the county's administration had made the move after the High Court suppressed the application to get rid of the entire board.
"Our alleged relocation is an ill-intended scheme and aimed at frustrating us to leave office after the court stopped the county government from terminating our contracts prematurely," the Chairman stated.
The chairman also put across that the Governor's officials had claims that renovations were due for the offices and hence the sudden eviction.
"We cannot continue working in such an environment. Why are they locking our equipment? The said relocation was forcible and some of our furniture and other equipment were damaged. There is more than meets the eye," Mr Oguya argued.
Confirming that the Board had been kicked out of their offices, County Secretary Charles Olang'o told reporters that the Governor and his administration was within his rights to do so.
He also went ahead to disband claims that the eviction was a result of the court tussle saying that the decision to disband the Board had been brought about by the County Assembly.
