Busia governor Sospeter Ojaamong’ has hit out at Funyula Member of Parliament Paul Otuoma for claiming he has done nothing for the people of Busia since 2013.
Speaking in Segero C village, Ojammong’ defended himself saying his track record speaks for itself.
The ODM governor challenged Otuoma to table his scorecard as Funyula MP and also as a former cabinet minister instead of criticising him.
“My opponents say Busia town is dirty yet he was local government minister. Worse still when we were MPs the National Government gave us Sh30 million each to undertake projects in our constituencies. The work I did at St Paul’s Amukura is visible. I also elevated Lukolis to a modern Health Centre,” said Ojaamong’.
“Go to Nambuku and see the shoddy job Otuoma did with patients now fearing to access the health centre,'' he said, Friday.
He further noted Funyula constituency was leading from behind in terms of development.
