Busia Governor Sospeter Ojaamong has appealed to voters to elect him and NASA Presidential flagbearer Raila Odinga during Tuesday's polls.

Ojaamong made the appeal when he winded up his campaign in Nambale and Budalang’i.

“I have many plans to revamp the county, including recruiting and posting an additional 900 ECDE teachers in each of the 35 wards and establishing a model ECDE in each ward,” he said.

Ojaamong further said that he will offer free NHIF cover for the elderly, people living with disability and children and provide subsidised inputs to farmers.

“Give me five more years to realize my transformational agenda for the county. During my tenure, I improved the welfare of our people through projects in the health sector, improved the road network and food security.” said the governor.

Ojaamong is facing stiff challenge from Independent candidate Paul Otuoma.
