The accused Calvin Okoth and Maryanne Mumbi are accused of killing Okombe.
The two are said to have committed the offence on November 4, 2017, in Nakuru.
The suspects were informed that Justice Maureen Odero was away and their trial will not start.
The suspects are out on bond.
The hearing of the murder case will on April 11, 2018.
Okombe was stabbed to death by a woman believed to be his wife with others while attending a friend's birthday party in Nakuru.
