Kibera MP, Ken Okoth has called on the public to elect good leaders who are responsible.
Through his Facebook post, Okoth advised Kenyans to elect engaged leaders.
‘‘The nation needs responsible, engaged leaders at all levels,’’ read his post.
Kibera youths too on Thursday supported their MP saying it’s time for the nation to embrace quality leadership.
‘‘Most Kenyan leaders use their subjects as a way to get money. After the government has given them money, the leaders use the money for personal gain. These are leaders we should not choose,’’ said Adam Ahmed.
Elizabeth Keya also supported the MP saying that bad leaders are those who bring no positive change to the society and steal from the society.
‘‘The elections are around the Corner. What Kenyans should be doing now is evaluating the leaders who have been in office since 2013. If there will be any good thing done by the leaders, Kenyans should not vote him in the coming elections,’’ said Karanja Ngugi.
