Kibera legislator, Ken Okoth has come out to bash the Kenyan police for using unwarranted force to neutralise protests during the Kibera demonstrations.
Okoth says it was inhuman for the anti-riot police to beat an unconscious man already immobilised on the ground, a fact he says is against the law.
‘'Why did they not arrest him for prosecution? Why did they leave him at the mercy of death after thorough beatings? Mob justice by the police force,’' Okoth posted on his Facebook page on Tuesday night.
The anti-riot police are on record beating up innocent men and women who were up for their daily businesses in the city only to be caught up in the melee that earned them lifetime injuries and emotional subjection.
Kenyans on social media also hit at the police for their mistaken show of might.
