Residents in Oldonyo-Sabuk are now calling on the National Police Service to investigate increased cases of murder being witnessed in the area. This is after another body was found in Oldonyo-Sabuk river, bordering River Athi, Tuesday morning, few days after the body of Baringo County's Churo-Amaya Member of County Assembly (MCA) Thomas Minito, was found, just 50 metres away. The residents who spoke to Citizen Radio, under condition of anonymity, said the body found was tired on a heavy item and was floating on the water, as it was already decomposing. They called on the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of the National government to install CCTV cameras along and aroud the river, to capture criminals who kill people and dump bodies in the river, possibly at night. River Oldonyo-Sabuk in Machakos county, has been in the headlines since the body of the late International Justice Mission lawyer Willy Kimani, his client and taxi driver were found dumped in the river in September last year, after going missing for three days.
