Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery has declared 'war' against his predecessor Joseph Ole Lenku for allegedly inciting Kajiado residents against him.
This comes barely days after the CS was whisked away from irate residents who were baying for his blood in a botched meeting in Kajiado.
According to Ole Lenku who is eyeing the county gubernatorial position, the CS is supporting his rivals.
But Nkaissery has defended himself saying that he is not eyeing any seat in the county and wonders why Ole Lenku can hire residents to attack him.
Speaking the Kajiado town ACK Church on Sunday, the CS said that he will not allow Ole Lenku to tarnish his name and that he is going to take a legal action.
"I will not allow this man Lenku to continue tarnishing my name everywhere he goes," Nkaissery said.
The CS added that he has already instructed his lawyers to take action against Lenku.
"We live in a country governed by the law.Anyone who incites others should face full force of the law,"he added.
