ODM Nakuru chapter chairperson Peter Ole Osano has strongly condemned the killing of the party's your leader in Nairobi on Tuesday night.
Speaking in Nakuru town on Wednesdsy morning, Ole Osano called on police to ensure that the culprits are brought to book.
The veteran politician called on other Cord principals to help the deceased's family get justice.
"As much as we want the police to intensify investigations into the death, justice must prevail because Mukabana was a young brilliant mind with a great political future ahead of him," he said.
Stephen Odongo Mukabana was shot at close range at his Mihango home in Ruai Nairobi as he waited for his gate to be opened in what police suspect to be a politically instigated death.
Other Cord principals led by Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka visited Mukabana's home to console his family and called for justice to prevail.
