The young David Ole Sankok. [Photo|David Ole Sankok]Nominated MP David Ole Sankok has narrated how he struggled during his school days as a disabled person."During my Primary school days (Ole Sankale Primary school), there was transport to our rural home only on Thursdays and Mondays because those were Narok town market days. When schools closed and it is not a market day or i missed transport on the market day, then i had to sleep under a blue bench outside the then famous Kamiti/ Bata shop... I will only have one meal a day courtesy of a street-children feeding program by the Narok Mosque. Not once i had to crawl on the streets of Narok town because my crutches broke yet there were no well wishers to assist me replace them and my loving father may not be ready with cash to purchase them. At one time i was forced to improvise a metal from a broken school bed (scrutinize the photo below)May God bless Kamiti family and the Narok Mosque. May our God expand your territories, may you never lack anything your heart Desire. When people openly express jealousy over God's blessings upon my life and my family, i forgive and pray for them because they don't know my journey and will never feel what i went through as a person with Disability from a poor Background!!!!"
