Photo/courtesyThe National Land Commission (NLC) has been called upon to hasten the process of surveying the disputed Oljorai settlement scheme in Gilgil Nakuru County so that squatters occupying the land can get title deeds.

Influential individuals have been blamed for the delayed issuing of title deeds to the thousands of squatters occupying the land formerly owned by the Agricultural Development Corporation (ADC).

While calling on President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy to intervene in the matter, the squatters said most of them were born and brought up in Oljorai scheme and as such it would only be prudent to have them issued with title deeds.
