This is part of a new measure by the firm to ensure that only fresh ads stay on the site. 

The adverts will only be refreshed after expiry if the item has not been sold and will be deemed new. 

Initially, after an item was sold, seller were required to pull down the item but would be reluctant to do this after they made a sale.

OLX is the country's largest listing site in the country. 

Currently, the firm has ventured into linking car sellers to buyer across the country.
