Former Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar's decision to ditch Wiper Party where he served as secretary general is continuing to attract criticism with his critics accusing him of being a bitter loser. After decamping from Wiper, Omar accused party boss Kalonzo Musyoka of being a 'meek and weak' leader, something he claims has hindered the growth of the party.Further, he took a swipe at ODM leader Raila Odinga's brand of politics. However, political analyst Dismas Mokua has criticised Omar, saying his attack on Kalonzo is insincere.Mokua argued that considering Omar served in the same party as secretary general, he should also carry the blame."When did Omar know that the leadership in Wiper is weak? Immediately after he failed in his gubernatorial bid? As a political society, we should avoid politics of deceit. Don't start criticism when things go sour,” said Mokua in an interview with KTN.Though Omar is yet to declare his next political vehicle, Mokua believes that Jubilee Party is Omar’s likely destination even as he bids for a swift return to politics after 2017 election.
