Jubilee Party strong pointman at the coast Ananiah Mwaboza has dismissed former Mombasa senator Hassan Omar as a hypocrite.
Mwaboza said that the recent inclusion of Omar in the Jubilee ship does not scare him because he (Mwaboza) is an established politician with Omar merely trying to survive the political turbulence after failing to clinch the governor's seat.
"Mfa maji haachi kupapatika (someone who is drowning does not stop fiddling)," he said in reference to Omar.
He also hit out at former Jubilee gubernatorial aspirant for Mombasa county Suleiman Shahbal, arguing that the party lost the seat because Shahbal was the flagbearer.
"The sentiments were there, they were everywhere... The majority said they wish Mwaboza was there," he said, adding that both Shahbal and Omar are unprincipled and that it will be almost impossible for them to win in case of a by-election.
