Mombasa governor hopeful Senator Hassan Omar is continuing to receive criticism barely two days after launching his manifesto for the county.Nyali MP Hezron Awiti, who is also eying the governor seat, said Omar should have remained in Senate for another five years before contesting for the county's top seat.Awiti said Omar should first do his calculations well before tearing into his opponents who are politically stable. The MP, who recently ditched the Wiper Democratic Party and formed his own political outfit, the Vibrant Democratic Party cautioned Omar against criticizing his opponents and using abusive language yet he is not politically experienced. “I moved out of Wiper Party because Omar who is the party secretary general operates the party like a personal property,” said Awiti.Awiti rubbished the Senator's manifesto, adding that will floor him in the August 8 polls. The Nyali MP said he was the ideal candidate to unseat Governor Hassan Joho, and appealed to residents to vote for him.“I'm not afraid of the stiff competition in the gubernatorial race and I will ensure I clinch the seat,” said Awiti on Friday. This comes after Omar on Thursday hit out at both Joho and Awiti, saying they were unfit to run the county.
