Mombasa Senator Omar Hassan now says Kenyans will accept any other leadership but not by the Jubilee administration.
Omar who spoke Monday during an interview with NTV said Kenyans were yearning for regime change and to send Jubilee packing in the 2017 elections.
"It is obvious what Kenyans want, they do not appreciate the corruption by the Jubilee administration. They do not appreciate the ethnicity and erratic behavior of the government," he said.
"Kenyans now want an alternative from this kind of treatment by the Jubilee government. Anything for Kenyans now would be better than Jubilee," he added.
Omar assured that the opposition was ready to take over power from the Jubilee administration stating that they would do things differently from the government of the day.
The Mombasa governor hopeful assured that the systemic failure by the President Uhuru Kenyatta led government was reason enough to send them home in August next year.
"The Jubilee administration has show incapacity to manage the government. We have seen so many systemic failures and corruption sum it all up. Social corruption through ethnicity being a major undoing by Jubilee," he said.
"Getting power is not an issue, it is what you do with the power and i think the opposition will do some things different when in control of government," he added.
