Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar has lauded former KTN journalist Mohamed Ali, popularly known as Moha Jicho Pevu, for putting up a spirited fight in the ODM Nyali primaries.Omar, who is also Wiper Secretary General, said Moha’s loss to Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho’s cousin, Said Abdallah alias Saedo, does not mark the end of the road in his political journey, adding that the journalist turned politician showed bravery during his campaigns.“Great to see my brother @MohaJichoPevu keeping strong. You shall overcome. Your resilience will wear them down. See you in the ballot on 8/8,” the senator captioned a photo he had taken with the journalist sometime back. On his part, Moha has insisted that he will be on the ballot box in August whether he receives the support of the ODM party or not. "I will be on the ballot on August 8, with or without ODM.......We are taking Jicho Pevu to parliament," he said.Moha had called for the cancellation of the results but his pleas fell on deaf ears after Saido was declared the winner of ODM ticket.
