Veteran politician Nyarangi Moturi says NASA coalition could crumble should former VP continue depending on political advice from Mombasa senator Hassan Omar and former Lagdera MP Farah Maalim.
Cracks have emerged in the opposition coalition with Musyoka maintaining that he will go for nothing other than presidency.
And the brewing rebellion from Wiper faction in the coalition according to Moturi is an ‘architect’ of the two leaders to ‘sustain’ their selfish interests.
“Omar and Maalim are the major advisors on Musyoka and I believe they have put him under unnecessary pressure.
“They have their own selfish interests and they are pushing Kalonzo so that ODM can withdraw its popular candidates in the region the two are contesting from,” added Moturi.
While Maalim is facing fierce opposition from ODM’s Nassir Dolal and JP’s Aden Duale, Omar however, has to face popular Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho in August.
With talks between the NASA principals reportedly paralyzed, Kalonzo has maintained that he will not accept anything less of flag bearer.
