Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar and Kwale Gubernatorial aspirant Chirau Ali Mwakwere have asked other NASA principals to back Kalonzo Musyoka as the coalition's flag bearer in the run to the August polls.Speaking during the Wiper Party aspirants meeting on Monday at the Bomas of Kenya, Omar who is also the party Secretary General lashed out at the other affiliate parties in the coalition for branding Kalonzo a 'Jubilee mole'."Kalonzo Musyoka cannot only be an ally when he supports you and becomes a mole when he wants to become President," Omar said.On his part, Mwakwere who is in the race to unseat Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya on a Wiper Parry ticket exuded confidence that NASA is the coalition to beat in the August polls. However, the veteran politician claimed that the coalition's victory will almost be guaranteed should Kalonzo be entrusted to fly its flag. With the coalition already fumbling with contradictions amid claims that the 2013 MoU between ODM and Wiper has not been honored, the bulldozing of Kalonzo candidature by his party will further fuel speculations that the looming fallout in the coalition is just a matter of when rather than if.
