Omar downplayed Joho's 2022 presidential ambitions in mid 2017, saying the hopes were being stimulated by Joho's alleged tendency of smoking shisha.
While speaking during and Iftar dinner in Likoni, the former human rights defender claimed Joho had no leadership skills and so could not lead the country.
The two leaders clashed during Joho's first term in office with Omar accusing Joho of mismanaging the County.
Omar unsuccessfully sought to oust Joho through Wiper Democratic Movement party and later joined the ruling Jubilee party.
Joho has since maintained his 2022 presidential ambitions in case his party leader ODM's Raila Odinga fails to vie.
