Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar has exuded confidence that the opposition will unseat President Uhuru Kenyatta and form government come August 8.
The senator said they will not live anything to chance in their quest to form the next government.
He said the Jubilee government has miserably failed to deliver services to the people and time has come for it to exit.
The senator accused the Uhuru Kenyatta-led government of tolerating corruption, tribalism and marginalization of some communities.
“As the opposition, we will do everything to make sure that the Jubilee government goes home come August 8,” said Omar on Sunday as quoted by the Daily Nation.
The Wiper Party secretary general said Kenyans are fed up with the Jubilee government.
Meanwhile, the vocal Mombasa senator has urged the opposition to remain united ahead of the August polls.
He said unity of the opposition leaders will be a determining factor on who between the opposition and Jubilee wins the elections.
The opposition is fronting for a super national alliance that it says will unseat Uhuru in August.
Jubilee politicians have however dismissed NASA as a confused outfit, saying it does not pose any threat to President Uhuru’s re-election bid in August.
