Jomo Kenyatta Foundation Chairman Walter Nyambati has said Omogusii Unity movement is incomplete without Nyamira people.
According to Nyambati, Nyamira County politicians and residents were not involved in the formation of the movement yet it is part of the Gusii community.
The JKF chair who addressed mourners in North Mugirango constituency on Sunday, said some politicians from Kisii County formed the movement without consulting residents and leaders from Nyamira.
Nyambati accused the movement saying it is incomplete, and challenged those fronting it to discard it and instead form a new outfit involving Nyamira people to make it complete.
“We wonder when we hear that in Kisii region there is a movement seeking to unite Gusii people, we have not been involved as Nyamira leaders," said Nyambati.
He asked Gusii leaders to deliver on their pledges to benefit residents development-wise besides urging them to work as a team.
“Unity will move our community far hence the need to unite but it cannot work if others are out of the movement,” added Nyambati.
