Elected leaders associated with ‘Omogusii Unity’ have been called upon to hire a political adviser to avoid being humiliated and causing obvious political mistakes.
According to Bogeka ward representative, Charles Mochoge in the past few meetings the ‘Omogusii Unity’ leaders have made huge mistakes that may lead to them losing some of the key voters from the region.
Reacting to the latest incident where Kisii county Governor James Ongwae was almost denied a chance to address the mourners in Kisii during the burial of Mrs Esther Nyachae the wife to former powerful Minister Simeon Nyachae the MCA said that was not acceptable and called upon the group to respect him as the current governor.
“If it were not the mourners Ongwae would not have been given a chance to address the residents who he leads and I can openly say that was a big blunder and that should not repeat itself,” he added.
Mochoge called upon area residents to ensure that they spread peace and play cool politics that will develop the community as a whole.
The MCA was speaking on Tuesday when he visited St Peters secondary at Bogeka.
