Kisii county Deputy governor Joash Maangi has denied allegations that the 'Omogusii Unity' was paid to join Jubilee.

Speaking at the launch of the Digital Literacy Learning Programme for Kisii County at Buyonge Primary School, Majoge Bassi ward, the deputy governor said that they ditched ODM due to lack of democracy and lack of a development agenda in the party and they are comfortable with Jubilee party.

Maangi accused a section of leaders from the region from misleading residents and called upon them to ensure that they give facts while addressing them.

"We all know that in ODM there is no democracy and the whole team lacks the great leadership and development agenda and that is available in Jubilee and that's why we opted to support the ruling party" he added

Maangi also said that he was sure their move will bear fruits for the entire region in terms of development.
