Renowned Kenyan activist Okiyah Omtatah has taken his litigation spree a notch higher.Omtatah wants the courts to order that Kenya National Examinations Council release the marked answer sheets of national exams.In his suit, he contends that failure to make the marked answer sheets public is a violation of a fundamental right.By releasing the sheets, teachers would be in a position to gauge their performance more accurately, Omtatah says.He argued that the move would ensure that those charged with the responsibility of marking exams discharge their duties keenly to avoid awarding of wrong marks.
