Since president Uhuru Kenyatta ascended into the highest office in the land, his wife Margaret Kenyatta has not put her feet down to have a rest so long Kenyans are still dying of preventable diseases.

If the first lady is not organizing a marathon to raise funds towards curbing cancer, she will be launching a drive to kick H.I.V/Aids out of Kenya.

Mid this month, she opened the conference for National Organization of Peer Educators, NOPE that deliberated on ways to prevent spread of H.I.V/Aids in Kenya.

If she is not urging Kenyans to wash their hands to put at bay such preventable diseases as diarrhoea, she is busy donating mobile clinics to help pregnant mothers access medical care, especially in rural areas where accessing health centres is a big deal.

In fact, the first lady's 'Beyond Zero' campaign is probably the biggest campaign in Kenya as far as maternal health is concerned.
