A suspected water borne disease has hit Mokubo in Bomachoge Borabu, Kisii County leading to the death of one person while several others were hospitalised at various health facilities.

The outbreak whose symptoms were severe diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain and fever, after feasting at a funeral in the area.

The victims have been rushed to Kenyenya sub county hospital and Sengeraa private health facility.
