One tout was injured on Wednesday morning at the Kisii bus park after a quarrel arose from his colleague over who should take a customer to his vehicle.
It is alleged that Eric Osano and Joash Masige were fighting over a customer who was to board a Nakuru bound matatu.
After a wrangle over the customer, Eric began arguing with his friend over the matter and a fight broke leaving Eric in injuries on his face and neck.
The Kisii bus park management hence did not come in to resolve the matter as the injured tout was rushed to the hospital due to excessive bleeding.
The management claims that it is normal for touts to fight over customers and hence the management cannot come in to resolve everything.
Such fights come as a result of obvious issues according to the matatu operators at the bus park where they said that a day rarely ends without such incidents among the matatu touts, drivers, and the matatu staff.
Masige has since gone into hiding.
