One person was injured after his pickup lost control and rolled several times today Feb 18 along Kathiani-Machakos road at Ngomeni area.

Confirming the incident the area chief Daudi Mumina said the pickup developed mechanical problems leading to the accident. 

"The pickup developed mechanical problems but the man was rescued in good time," said Mumina.

He was rushed to Machakos level five hospital and his vehicle taken to Machakos police station.

Speaking from the hospital, John Mutuku said he was lucky to survive and urged drivers to be careful on the roads.
