One person was been critically injured in a road accident at Kwa King'ee area at Kathama along Tala-Mwala road.
The accident occurred on May 7 in the morning.
According to Kathama bodaboda chairperson Micheal Kilele who was at the scene, the accident involved a personal car which had the driver alone on board.
He said that the car lost control and veered off the road hitting a tree and therefore leaving the driver critically injured.
"I was the first person to arrive at the scene immediately the accident occurred.It has left the driver critically injured,"he said.
Kilele said that bad state of the road might have contributed to the accident as the ongoing heavy rains have left it dilapidated.
He, therefore, called upon the county government of Machakos to take action and repair the road.
The injured was rushed to Machakos level five hospital by police officers from Mwala police station where he is recuperating.
