One person is said to have died after he was knocked by a speeding vehicle, as Jubilee holds nominations in Nairobi.

The Star reports the deceased attempted to flee from youth who had stabbed him, as he was posting posters of a Starehe constituency, Jubilee parliamentary aspirant.

He was killed by a speeding car at Pangani, as his aide received injuries during the, Wednesday 6am, incident.

According to Nairobi County Commander Japheth Koome, the two were accosted by a group of youthful supporters allied to the said politicians' competitor.

He condemned the attack, and warned that the police would not tolerate such incidents.

Koome called on aspirants and supporters to ensure peace even as the primaries continue, saying it was illegal for aspirants to put up posters when polls arre being conducted.
