An accident involving two cars on the Nairobi-Nakuru highway has left one person dead and three others nursing serious injuries.
The driver of the car died on the spot in the Friday morining accident which occurred near the Fly-Over trading centre, Naivasha after his vehicle was involved in a head-on collision with another personal car.
One of the witnesses, Amos Wachira, said the driver was overtaking a fleet of vehicles when he crashed into an incoming car.
He said three occupants in the other car sustained serious injuries.
They were rushed to Naivasha Sub-county Hospital for treatment, he added.
A senior police officer said they have launched investigations to establish the cause of the accident.
