Nasa presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka will on Sunday, May 28, present their nomination and presidential papers to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

Nairobi governor, Dr Evans Kidero said this is the last legal requirement before they are cleared by the Commission to begin official campaigns ahead of the August 8, elections.

Kidero revealed at least one million Nasa supporters from across the country would accompany the Opposition leaders to IEBC's Anniversary Towers in Nairobi.

"We are expecting one million supporters to accompany the leaders. Nasa is more strong," said Kidero.

Addressing the press, accompanied by ODM Nairobi Women Representative aspirant Esther Passaris, ODM Nairobi chairman George Aladwa, among others, Kidero said the leaders would later visit Starehe Constituency (where the CBD lies), Embakasi North and later Embakasi East, where they will hold a public rally at Jacaranda grounds.

"You are welcomed to add your voice to the 10 million strong at Jacaranda grounds in Embakasi East," Kidero, who seeks to defend his seat, said, Friday.
