At least one person was injured on Monday at Mwariki estate in Nakuru when a motorbike lost control and hit a crowd of people.
According to witnesses, two men were riding on a bodaboda before they veered off the road and rammed into a crowd which was chatting outside a butchery.
One person was badly injured as his leg was broken on the spot.
"The rider appeared drunk," a resident, who witnessed the accident, said.
The victim of the accident was taken to Kimsaw hospital for treatment and the rider of the bike forced to pay for the medical bill.
Motorbike accidents reportedly high within the town.
