First time date is known to make people feel anxious especially for male partners.
While a majority of people concentrates on what they will wear or how will they look before going on the first date, the most important thing is focusing on what you are going to talk about.
It’s common for people to ask hard-hitting questions like what their partners are looking for in a relationship and why they broke up with their last partners. It’s time to be careful because this can just ruin everything.
According to dating Coach James Preece, a good strategy is keeping things light.
Preece believes that if you keep a jovial conversation, your date is likely to come away in a good mood and more positive.
“On a first date you want to keep questions light,” Preece told the Independent.
Talking about positive things and being happy will make your date feel the same towards you. You should explore largely about your date's family, favorite holidays and what he or she is passionate about.
If you insist on talking about negative topics then you risk your date leaving in a negative mood about you. This should not be the time to share your catastrophic events in your life. They should wait until another day.
