According to Ongeri intimidating Raila’s supporters and advisers won't results in any positive outcome for the country but instead keep on raising political temperatures in the country.

Speaking on Tuesday at Kisii high court during the hearing of a petition challenging his victory the senator said that the future of the country lies with president Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA chief Raila Odinga.

“Intimidating Raila and his close confidants won’t help anything and therefore its high time Jubilee government led by Uhuru to ensure that they grant Raila Odinga the best,” said Ongeri.

“Raila has no bad motive for the nation for those who understand him as he is fighting for a better Kenya that we all long for," he added.
