Kenya's Ambassador to the UN-Habitat, Sam Ongeri has confirmed that he will be on the ballot come 2017 though he did not reveal which post he will be vying for.

The former Education Minster while speaking on Friday said that he was still consulting with his supporters and superiors before deciding on the seat he will be vying.

“I have been in politics and all it needs is better leadership which can be achieved through consultations and that what am currently doing before in set on the position I will go for” he added.

Ongeri was speaking at a burial of the late Peter Nyaega Ongeri who an MCA at the Kisii County Assembly representing Bobasi ward.

The ambassador ran for the senatorial seat in 2013 election which he lost after becoming third after the current senator Chris Obure and Omingo Magara.
