Immediate Kenya UN Habitat ambassador Sam Ongeri says President Uhuru Kenyatta has failed in management of healthcare system in the country.

Despite the doctors’ strike only shy of four days to hit a centurion of days, Kenyatta threatened to sack the medics should they fail to sign return to work formula.

And Ongeri, who ditched Jubilee Party for ODM last month, questioned the Head of State’s commitment in improving health sector.

“Doctors are not mangoes that you pick from a tree. They are gold,” said the former Education Minister in Tweet, his first scathing attack on his former boss.

The medical doctor added: “Uhuru, you have consistently scored grade E in the last four years virtually in all sectors. Kindly go home.”

Mr. Ongeri was President Kenyatta’s point’s man in Gusii region before joining ODM citing poor development record of Jubilee government as the reason behind his move.

He will run for Kisii senatorial seat on ODM ticket and is poised to face stiff competition from Charles Nyachae and former South Mugirango MP Omingo Magara.
