Few hours after the signing of the historical pact by the opposition leader, ODM new recruit Sam Ongeri says he will work ‘extra’ to deliver votes for opposition leader Raila Odinga.

On Wednesday, opposition leaders signed a working pact that saw a creation of the National Super Alliance Nasa, which shall face Jubilee in August.

But despite Ongeri’s pledge, the opposition is yet to settle on a settle candidate, with only few months to elections.

“This is a sign that united people cannot be beaten. They have shown that Kenyan interests come first and that is why I will work hard to deliver for Odinga.

“He has been very consistent and I believe with him on top, Jubilee government will probably head home because they have simply ruined our economy,” said the former Jubilee points man.

While Ongeri’s move to ODM was welcomed by senior party members, his former allies have constantly accused his of selfishness.

“He was in politics with my father and he doesn’t seem to give up. We respect him but it is time to quit politics, “said Charles Nyachae, who is to face him for senatorial seat.
