Both Jubilee and ODM are keen to capture the seat which was left vacant following the death of Mr Peter Ongeri of the orange party over a month ago.

And Ongwae who hasn’t shown up during the spirited campaigns waged by ODM bigwigs led by Nominated Senator Janet Ong’era, the county boss said he would be in charge during the final moments.

“I support Naftali Onkoba for the seat because we come from the same party. I am sure we will bag the victory because our campaigns are a bit organised than our opponents. We can’t campaign all of us at the same time,” he said.

“As ODM, we have a routine and when my time comes, I will pitch a tent in Nyacheki and drum support for my favorite candidate. I cannot support a candidate who doesn’t embrace the ideals of the Orange party which are manifested in our election manifesto,” he said.

The Kisii County boss is though expected to join ODM leader Raila Odinga on Saturday for a series of campaigns in the region.
