Kisii County Governor James Ongwae has denied allegations that he is allocating county jobs unequally while at the segregating some of the employees.
According to Ongwae, he has been working closely with all county members despite their clan affiliations while at the same time ensuring jobs are allocated according to merit.
Speaking when he met Bonchari professionals at Kisii County hall on Friday, Ongwae said that he is also looking forward to ensuring all residents are aware that all county jobs are available to all qualified individuals.
“For me, I have never been influential when it comes to employment of persons in the county and I have been ensuring that the job slots are given to those qualified and every region have got a share of the same,”said Ogwae.
The governor accused some of his opponents for misleading the public by spreading false information regarding county job allocation system.
